Setup OneDrive on your Windows 10 device

This article shows to setup OneDrive, Remove OneDrive and setup multiple OneDrive accounts.

How to link OneDrive with Windows 10

Windows 10 has now OneDrive as a folder on your file explorer. Syncing the folder with your cloud OneDrive storage is a seamless process. You will need to type your Microsoft email and password and click the next button few times.

Link the OneDrive folder to Microsoft account, initial setup
1. Open the OneDrive app from the Start menu or by searching on your Windows search box.

2. Type your Microsft email address and click Sign in

3. Type your password and click Sign in

4. Click Next to leave the local OneDrive storage as default location or change it if you choose to do so. This will create your local OneDrive location.

5. Click next on Get to know your OneDrive window

6. Click next to Share files and fodler

7. Click next to All your files, ready and on-demand window

8. Click Later on Setup mobile app window

9. Your OneDrive setup should be complete. Click Open my OneDrive folder to lounch the OneDrive.


Add OneDrive account to existing OneDrive setup
1. Right-click your OneDrive folder

2. Click Settings

3. Click the Account tab

4. Type your Microsft email address and click Sign in

4. Type your password and click Sign in

5. Click Next to leave the local OneDrive storage as default location or change it if you choose to do so.

6. Click next on Get to know your OneDrive window

7. Click next to Share files and fodler

8. Click next to All your files, ready and on-demand window

9. Click Later on Setup mobile app window

10. Your OneDrive setup should be complete. Click Open my OneDrive folder to launch the OneDrive. You should now have a second OneDrive folder available on your system.


Remove or unlink OneDrive from your Windows 10 device

1. Right-click your OneDrive folder to unlink

2. Click Settings

3. Click the Account tab

4. Click Unlink from this PC

5. Click Unlink account on the confiramtion window

6. This should unlink the account from the device
