By definition Disk Quota is the data space limit of each network user to specific shared network volume. To setup a Disk Quota on shared volume, follow these steps; 1. Login the server as an administrator. 2. Click Start -> My Computer or the Server name. 3. Right click the shared volume and click on Properties 4. Click on the Quota tab. 5. Select “Enable quota management” check box. 6. Click on Limit Disk Space to radio box and specify the Quota size. 7. Specify the warning level. 8. Select preferred log options. 9. Click Ok Note: These options would not deny the user to go over the limit but it will log the warning in the event view and will red flag users exceeded their Quota. To Deny users once they exceed the Quota limit, select “Deny Disk Space to Users Exceeding Quota Limit” option.
