Use the vertical space There is much more space to be used in the walls—we just fail to see it. If you have no more room in your floor area, use the vertical space instead. Go ahead and stack up a few more cabinets or shelves up there, or just some simple panels for books and figurines. You can also set up some hooks on the kitchen walls for your extra cooking utensils or mugs. The ceiling! Who says you can’t use the ceiling to save some space? You can easily put some cabinets or containers (with the use of some sturdy mounts) up there too. Multi-purpose furniture If you don’t have much space in your house or apartment, purchasing multi-purpose furniture is a good choice. Imagine having four different furniture pieces for the space of one—that’s how efficient it is. Collapsible furniture is also a good option as you can tuck these away when not in use and save a lot of space. The bottoms Do you know that you can use the bottom of your shelves? A simple magnet can hold your extra mugs or cups at the bottom. You can also use the bottom of your stairwell as an improvised book case. You can also use this space to stack some extra shelves as well Out with the old Maybe the reason why your place is too cluttered is because you simply have too much stuff. Get rid of the things you have no use for and even the things you haven’t used in a while. If you haven’t used it in the last year, chances are, you have no use for it anymore. Better throw it out and clear up your space!
