Posted: 2015-01-07

Choosing your path in life may be a bit tricky, especially if you are not sure about the things you love or hate. Whether you are comfortable with routine or adventure, Iím pretty sure there is one goal in all your scenarios, and that is making a lot of money. Todayís market offers a lot of opportunities and you donít have to do the same job all your life, but there are a few questions you must ask yourself before pursuing one career or another. What are you good at? You may not have any special talents, but there must be things you do better than others. Establishing your skills is the first step towards choosing the right career. What do you love? The perfect job is the one where you get paid for doing what you love. If you have many hobbies and passions, try to picture yourself doing something for a long time. If that image doesnít scare you, it means you might have found you professional love. Where do you want to live? Some jobs require changing the scene, maybe traveling abroad. While there are people crazy over traveling, others may find it stressful and would prefer staying within the country boarders. What lifestyle do you want to have? Most jobs mean hard work and low payment, at least the first couple of years. If you want to skip this step, youíd probably have to cross of the list most of the companies and try to start your own business or work as a freelancer. What does your personality says? Some people like working in big companies, having hundreds of colleagues, while others find it disturbing being surrounded by a large crowd. An introvert may feel more comfortable working alone, in a quiet environment. On the other hand, an extrovert will thrive in a loud and busy office.
