Bellow is a quick tip that will shows you how to group related files and folders in Widows explorer or documents folder. The example was done on Windows 7 but same or similar methods will work for other Windows operating systems. To Group Related Files and Folders by name, date, type size, etc: 1) Open Windows Explorer by right clicking the Start button and clicking on Windows Explorer
2) Browse to the folder where the files and folders are located and right click any open space. On the popup menu, hover over Group By and click on Name or any other field that you want group by files/folders.

3) This will group by items in the folder by the selected option. Bellow is screenshot of a folder grouped by name

To undo the grouping by, right click empty space, select group by and click on none
