Five reasons to buy Honda hr v

Posted: 2016-06-16

Honda HR-V (Hi-rider Revolutionary Vehicle ) is said to be Hondas smallest, most affordable SUV till date and shares underpinnings with the Honda Fit. Following are the top reasons to buy one for your excellent ride.

1. Looks
The 2016 HR-V looks sporty, smart and sleeker due to its taller ride and standard 17-inch alloy wheels. The best thing about HR-V is its interior design such as its straightforward and sophisticated instrumentation. It has a really expansive feel. Appreciable large vent runs across the dash in front of the right seat passenger and a much wider cabin.

2. Add-ons for joyous ride
The touchscreen display handles the entertainment, communications and navigation functions as well as the HondaLink smartphone app integration system. It has a 5-inch touch-sensitive LCD screen and touch-sensitive back panel are present for the ventilation system. It has a rearview camera, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity and a four-speaker sound system with CD player and USB ports.

3. Performance
HR-V comes with a 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine good for 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque. The engine being efficient and exceedingly smooth is estimated to go for 28 to 31 miles per gallon overall.

4. Driver Friendly
A six-speed manual is available on front-drive HR-Vs but whether you want it or not is totally dependent on you. Communicates pretty good and its suspension is tuned more stiffly than many other cars in the industry so there is little body roll in corners without sacrificing much comfort.

5. Safety
Following the trend of being safety features concerned, Honda HR-V is equipped with antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front seat side airbags, side curtain airbags and a rearview camera. The safety bar is further raised with Vehicle Stability AssistTM and Anti-Lock Braking System ensures proper brake pressure in case of over/under steer and retained steering during hard braking respectively.
