There are times when we want to try new ethnic cuisines for the sake of curiosity. Maybe you have already tried the famous Italian, French or Mexican ethnic cuisines, however, there are still lots of delicious ethnic cuisines from other cultures that your taste buds will surely love. Below are some of the worth trying ethnic cuisines if you are an enthusiast. Greek Cuisine If you are health conscious, Greek cuisine is excellent to try. Ethnic Greek cuisines use ingredients like olive oil, grains, veggies, herbs, yogurt, grains, fish and lamb, while honey and nuts are usually used for the dessert. Popular Greek cuisines are Fasolada, a bean soup; Paidakia, a grilled lamb; Spetsofai, a Pelion stew and a lot more. Baklava is a great desert made of pastry and layered with honey and nuts. Chinese Cuisine Ethnic Chinese cuisines are well-known in the USA in fact, there are lots of Chinese restaurants around that caters delicious Chinese foods. The ingredients used for the Chinese dishes are garlic, ginger, tomatoes, scallions, bamboo shoots, rice wine and pepper. Some of the most popular dishes include, Peking Duck, Shanghai Soup Dumplings and Century Eggs. Korean Cuisine Just like other Asian Cuisines, Korean cuisines also use rice and veggies as their main ingredients incorporated with garlic, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, fermented chili paste and pepper flakes, which are the main seasonings and condiments to enhance the Korean taste. Some of the well-known Korean dishes are Kimchi, Bibimbap, Kimpap, Samgae-tang (chicken soup) and Kalbi (Barbequed Spare Ribs). Caribbean Cuisine A combination of cuisines brought by different population from countries who visited Caribbean such as Amerindian, European, Arab, Chinese and African. Different races have created different styles of dishes that are unique in the Caribbean. Ingredients used for Caribbean cuisines include rice, cassava, beans, different meats available, chickpeas, potatoes, bell peppers, tomatoes and coconuts. To have the Caribbean character, seasonings are used such as oil-based marinade and green herbs. Chutney and Jerk Chicken are one of the favorites by many.
