Much to the delight of the users the long waited most favorite Start Menu is back with windows 10. The absence of the Start menu made Windows 8 a devastating failure. Thanks to Microsoft, they finally listened to the people and not only brought back the Start menu but introduced an advanced Start menu with their new OS, Windows 10.

Switching Between Start Menu and Start Screen
Windows 10 Start menu gives you the flavor of a cocktail where you can experience both the old and famous Windows 7 Start menu and Windows 8 Start Screen. In computers you will get both of them by default, Classic Start Menu in left side and Start screen in the right.

But if you want just the Start Screen you can do that by going to Settings>>Personalization then click on Start option. You will see a section called Start behaviors; toggle the button of Use full-screen Start when in desktop. Now you can see a full screen Start menu if you click on the windows button.

Changing the color of the Start menu, taskbar and window borders

Go to Settings >> Personalization and then go to Colors and choose your color or you can turn on the Automatically pick an accent color from my background option which will set a color calculating your background image in the desktop.

Pin or Unpin a tile

To pin a software or app or files you need to find that app from Start Menu then right click and click Pin to Start. It will be added to your Start screen in the right corner or you can also simply drag that app to the right corner.

To Unpin an app or what is called a tile from the tile section in the right corner you just need to right click on it and select Unpin from Start
