Mac and cheese is one of the most popular foods in America. People are really fond of this dainty delicious meal. They even order this at restaurants and different restaurants have their own recipe for their special Mac and cheese. But today we will learn a home made Mac and cheese recipe. It will take 10 minutes to prep and 45 minutes to cook. For 6 people serving ingredients are below. Ingredients . 8 ounce processed American cheese sliced . 8 ounce elbow macaroni . 2 cups milk . 12 teaspoon dry mustard . 2 tablespoons butter . 14 teaspoon ground black pepper . 2 tablespoons flour . 14 nicely chopped onion . 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese . 34 teaspoon salt Method 1. Take a saucepan, add the butter and melt them into medium heat. Now add chopped onions and cook them for 2 minutes. Now add flour and mix them together and cook for 1 minute. 2. Now stir mustard, pepper, milk and salt together and cook them until the mixture get thickened and boiled. 3. Now take a pot add water and salt in it and let it boil. After boiling the water pour the macaroni and cook those for 8-10 minutes or until cooked well. 4. Now in the mixture of milk, add American cheese and Cheddar and stir until the cheese melt properly. 5. Now take a 2 quart baking dish, add cheese sauce and macaroni in it and mix them properly. 6. Preheat your oven in 175 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 3-4 minutes. Now put the baking dish into the preheated oven and bake them for 30 minutes or until bubbly and hot. Now cool them for 10 minutes and then serve the mouthwatering, delicious Mac and Cheese.
