how to turn windows 7 system restore points

Windows system restore point is function if enabled would allow you to restore your system to previous date. It keeps track of software and system changes and allows you to restore it to previous state. It does not touch your personal data such as documents and pictures. This function is normally enabled on Windows 7 by default but there is way to turn on or off.

Follow the instructions below to enable system restore point on your Windows 7 computer;
1) Click Start and right click Computer. You can also access through Start-> Control Panel -> System

2) In the System properties dialog box, click on System Protection

4) Check off Restore System settings and previous version of files

5) Click OK and click OK again to close all the open dialog windows

Follow the instructions below to disable or turn off system restore points on your Windows 7 computer;
1) Follow the instruction above up to step number 4

2) Check off the Turn off System Protection check box
