If you like onion ring, you will enjoy the apple rings. It can be served as a desert or as a snack. It is ideal to enjoy it in your meetings with family or friends. The ingredients you will need to prepare this delicious recipe are:
4 granny apples
Round cookie cutters from different sizes
1 cup of regular flour
1 medium size egg
¼ teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of vanilla essence
¼ cup of whey
2 cups of oil
A pinch of salt
Coconut quantity required
Follow the instructions:
1.Wash the apples and cut slices about 1 centimeter wide
2.With the round cookie cutters cut the inside of the slices, it must look like a ring.With the rest of the apple slices you can cut smaller rings too.
3.On a bowl beat the eggs lightly.
4.Add the cup of flour, the baking powder, the pinch of salt and the vanilla essence.
5.Add the whey gradually in small amount, that way you can reach the consistency needed. It must look like a mass almost liquid.
6.Put the apple rings on the bowl for soaking it in the mass. Make sure the rings are well covered with the mass. Let them stand for 5 minutes before frying.
7.On a saucepan preheat the oil.
8.When the oil is hot, fry the apple rings presoaked on mass.
9.Fry the apple rings for about 2 minutes.
10.Remove from the pan and sprinkle grated coconut
