how to create windows to go using windows 8 or windows 81 enterprise edition

Windows To Go is feature that is available on Windows 8/8.1 Enterprise edition that allows you to create Windows 8 installation on USB drive or external drive. Windows To Go workspace operates just like any other installation of Windows with few exceptions. See this link for: Windows To Go: Feature Overview.

To create Windows To Go bootable USB Drive, follow the instruction bellow:

1) Insert NTFS formatted USB drive into your Windows 8.1 Enterprise computer and insert your Windows 8 DVD into your DVD drive

2) Open Windows To Go Workspace by searching Windows To Go in the charms bar or search box

3) Click Windows To Go to open up Windows To Go Workspace

4) Select your USB Flash drive and click next

5) Windows To Go should automatically scan your DVD drive and find your Windows 8 image file, select and click next. If the image is not found, select Install.wim file located in the[drive]:source directory

6)Setup a confidential Bitlocker password and click next

7) Click next to wipe out your USB Flash drive

8) Click Create and the installation process should progress and complete

9) Choose an option (to reboot the computer with this flash or not) and Click Save Close but your Windows 8 Installation Flash Drive is now ready to be used
