how to create users groups organizational units ous objects

By definition, Organization Unit (OU) is Active Directory container object use to delegate administration tasks. Organization unit can contain users, groups, resources, and other OUs.

To create an Organizational Unit, follow these steps:

1. On your domain controller, click Start and point to Administrative Tools.
2. Click on Active Directory Users and Computers.
3. In Active Directory Users & Computers, select and right click the domain object.
4. Choose New and click on Organizational unit.
5. Type the OU name of the Organizational unit.
6. Click Ok.

To create a user in an Active Directory environment, follow these steps:

1. On your domain controller, click Start and point to Administrative Tools.
2. Click on Active Directory Users and Computers.
3. In Active Directory Users & Computers, select and right users object or the organizational unit where you want create the user.
4. Choose New and click on User.
5. Type the user information.
6. Click Ok.

To create a group in an Active Directory environment, follow these steps:

1. On your domain controller, click Start and point to Administrative Tools.
2. Click on Active Directory Users and Computers.
3. In Active Directory Users & Computers, select and right users object or the organizational unit where you want create the group.
4. Choose New and click on Group.
5. Type the group name.
6. Click Ok.
