how to cook a delicious chirimoya nougat

Chirimoya is a delicious tropical fruit, with a taste similar to pineapple. This fruit is very healthy; it is low in fat and rich in essential minerals such as phosphorus and vitamins B and C and nutrients for our body. Now, with this recipe you can add a healthier fruit with a delicious classic dessert.

The ingredients needed to prepare the nougat are:
2 ½ cups of white sugar
2 white eggs
1 cup of water
1 Kilo of chirimoya
100 grams of chopped almonds
100 grams of nuts
50 grams of raisins or prunes

The preparation steps are:

1.Wash the chirimoyas and peel it.

2.Remove the seeds, only the fruit pulp must remain and reserve it.

3.In a saucepan put the sugar and the cold water.

4.Cook on low temperature for at least 5 minutes to get the syrup.

5.In a separate bowl, separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat the egg whites until snow point (very firm).

6.Little by little add the syrup to the egg whites, taking care that the hot syrup do not ruin the egg whites preparation. Keep beating until the mixture is cold and firm again.

7.Add one by one, the pulp of the chirimoya, the almonds, the nuts and the raisins or prunes, and mix gently to keep the preparation fluffed.

8.Serve the preparation in nice individual glasses or on a cake mold and decorate with tiny chopped walnuts or chopped chocolate biscuits.

9.Let it repose in the refrigerator until the preparation is firm. The consistency must be similar than to a mouse consistency.

This preparation is for serving 8 people and the preparation must be on the refrigerator at least for one night.
