how to clear saved passwords on google chrome

If you have saved a password for a website in Google’s chrome and you do not want that password saved on your computer anymore, you can easily remove that. Follow the instructions below to remove your saved passwords.

Click and Open Google Chrome browser and click the triple bar icon which appears to the right of the address bar. Now select the “Settings” menu option, it will open a new tab. Now scroll down to the bottom and click the link named “Show advanced settings”. Now scroll down and locate the “Passwords and Forms” section and click on “Manage saved passwords”. This will open a new pop up window containing a list of saved passwords. It will be blank at first time and may take sometime to load.

If you want to remove a single password then take your mouse over the one you want to delete and then click the X button which will appear next to it. Unfortunately there’s no way to delete all your saved passwords at once from this window, you have to manually click and delete each one.

If you want all your passwords to be gone, you can do that by closing this dialog box, then clicking on the “Clear browsing data” button in the “Privacy” section and make sure to choose only “Clear saved passwords” button. After that click on “Clear browsing data” button and all your saved passwords will be deleted from the Google Chrome.
