Most programming language tutorials, no matter what the language, walk you through a step-by-step guide to print “Hello World” onto the screen or console. I’m going to tell you how to do this in python.
Assuming you already have python installed, open the Python IDLE and type:
It should appear as below in IDLE:
>>> print(“Hello world!”)
What python does is takes the print command, with parenthesis as the argument holder, and prints within the argument holder a string of text, indicated by the quotation marks. With the print command you can also print variables, lists, dictionaries, and more.
Congratulations on your very own Python Hello World program!Publisher: adam
